Yuna is the CCAC's Best of the Bunch dog for the month of November! She is a sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with a black and white speckled coat and a black mask. Yuna is between one and two years old and has a medium level of energy. She can be a bit shy at first, but warms right up with a little encouragement and petting. This sweet girl wants nothing more than to be snuggled with and loved on. She seems to understand what "sit" and "stay" mean, but has a little trouble following through as she wants so badly to rush forward and be pet! Yuna gets along well with both dogs and cats, but would do best in a home without young children as they may make her nervous. She would do fine with older children who understand to move slowly with her at first. Yuna would make a fantastic companion for anyone looking to add a sweet and gentle dog to their family.
Tom is the CCAC's Best of the Bunch cat for the month of November! He is a snuggly brown and white short hair tabby with unique facial markings. Tom came in with his brother Jerry (who has since been adopted) and has spent much of his kittenhood here. He's about eight months old, litter trained, and a certified babysitter of the other kittens in the shelter! He's always willing to let the new kittens snuggle up next to him and use him as their own personal pillow. Tom thoroughly enjoys being held and always wants to know what people are doing. He gets a bit excited when getting his picture taken, so it's difficult to capture a non-blurry image of him! Tom would make the perfect buddy for anyone who wants a laid back, kitten-magnet in their life.
